Add unique shapes and movement to glass projects with our versatile hand pulled Vitrigraph stringers. Threads of glass are pulled from remelted Bullseye CoE90 sheets, creating random spirals, curves and twists.
Variations can be a mixture of transparent, opal and streaky glass. Each jar contains a good mix of thicknesses, shapes and sizes including long, medium, short and very short murrine-style pieces, a variety of curves and at least one spiral section.
Please note:
- This product is very fragile and small breakages may occur in transit.
- All Vitrigraph is handmade and the product received may differ from picture shown
- There may be larger 'nuggets' of glass included in the product- these are not included in the weight of the product.
Working Notes
Vitrigraph stringer is not pre-annealed. To prevent thermal shock during firing, we recommend reducing the initial ramp speed to 80-150°C per hour, depending on glass thickness (the thicker the piece, the slower the rate).
