Product Information

Create beautiful curvaceous display pieces with this double curve mould.

Bullseye Code: 8960

All our moulds are designed for multiple use and with care should last for many firings.

Dimensions

Size: 24cm x 20cm, depth 4.5cm.

Length of glass needed to fully fit the mould: approximately 26.5cm.

Please note that all our moulds are hand-made and therefore the dimensions may vary slightly from those shown. Mould manufacturers allow a tolerance of up to 2cm. We strongly recommend cutting the glass to the size measured from the actual mould rather than relying solely on the dimensions shown.

Highly popular glass-fusing curve mould praised for versatility and design possibilities. Customers said it's "my most used mould" with "great results." Offers variable depth options from deep to narrow 5cm curves. Some concerns about inconsistent surface quality between batches and dimensional variations. Stability issues noted with full-height pieces. Popular for teaching and commissions.

Not consistent

I have bought 3 of these moulds. The first is lovely and smooth and as I use it a lot I wanted to get some more. I ordered another but the surface was very rough which I thought would show up on the glass. I complained and returned it and was sent a replacement which is just as rough so I am going to have to return that too. Disappointing that the quality is not consistent. I am reluctant to order yet another in case I have the same problem as it is pain to have to send them back.

Much as I love the shape and versatility of the mould, I have concerns over the stability the full height pieces. I feel it would be better if the curves were slightly deeper.

This is my most used mould. You can vary the depth of the piece from really deep, to narrow 5cm little curves. It seems to appeal massively to everyone. Well worth the money.

I love this mould and so do my students we have all had great results with this . I have recently bought a 2nd one due to demand from students and commission pieces recommend this curve.

A really useful mould that you can use different parts of to get the curve you want. It has quickly become a favourite.

I have 1 original mould that measures 24x20 the other 3 newer ones measure 24x19.2. Realise these are hand made but SO annoying not to be able to fit 2 pieces on to slump. Agree with other comments about a 'medium' mould size.

My new favourite mould! Great size, lots of possibilities....have made several different scenes/designs and all worked fab. Did find the pieces are more stable/solidly upright if 24 cm long and no more than 15cm tall. I agree with the earlier review that I'd love a slightly larger "medium" size as the larger one won't fit in my Skutt Firebox 14 either.

Fantastic for one or two pieces. I've tried both. Love the shape.
