Why buy a kiln from Warm Glass?

We have an experienced team who will support you every step of the way, including free technical help if you need it. Call us on 01934 863344, and we will find the best setup for you. If you find this kiln cheaper elsewhere, please contact us and we'll do our best to match it.

Special features:

  • A recessed base to provide extra height internally.
  • "Infra-red" quartz heating elements, designed for high performance and effective insulation. This means your Hobbyfuser will make the crucial ramp from 700°C to 800°C in as little as 9 minutes.
  • The stainless steel lid is powder coated and oven baked, then lined out with press-cut, non-ceramic fibre.  This eliminates the risk of brick dust particles dropping from the lid and onto your glass.
  • A fast response thermocouple to avoid lag between the kiln temperature and the controller reading.
  • A British company, on hand to offer great advice and post-customer care.

Energy Credentials:

  • Basic Full Fuse KwH: 5.2*
  • Average Cost of Firing: £1.77*

*Information based on supplier testing with 6mm Bullseye Glass on a Basic Full Fuse, and will vary slightly between firings. Energy prices calculated using the UK energy price cap of 34p per KwH, correct as of the 1st October 2022.

I bought this kiln after taking a one day course at Warm Glass. It is easy to use and from day one I have had consistently good results.

I've had this kiln for just over a year now, and so pleased with my choice.

Warm Glass were fabulous with their advice before my purchase and support afterwards.

Stand is expensive but so worthwhile and makes loading much more comfortable.

My one suggestion would be a longer power cable - fairly restricted in where I could place it but have since had an electrician in to install an extra socket so I can put it in a better position.

Thoroughly recommend to anyone.

As always, the team at Warm Glass have delivered quality! Takes a bit longer to get here as I'm in the Isle of Man but I'm so happy with the kiln. I can get more than double than I could in the Skutt. You do need a couple of people with muscle who can lift and get it set up but once done, it really is plug and play.

This was my second kiln and had it for over a year now,I use it 4/5 times a week and some times twice a day. It has never let me down once, one thing though it did not have a peep hole for checking on work while fusing, but I solved the problem by installing my own,I would happily buy another one, love it

Got this kiln in January 2018 as a birthday gift from my wife(how lucky am I)Easy to use with the presets, love it.Only gave 4 stars as stand not included and pricey for a metal stand.
