2 reviewsIt's rare that you'll need to replace your lid but in the event that you do, its easy to replace it instead of getting a new kiln. The most common reason for people replacing their kiln lid is if they accidentally drop the lid when not propped up correctly. Please note you will need to drill the holes in the bracket in order to attach it to the base of your kiln. This is easily done with a household drill.

This lid comes with a 3 month warranty (UK Only)
Please note: Due to the material used to make the lid, they are prone to crumbling or flaking. This is usually cosmetic and does not affect the kiln's performance. This type of damage can be repaired with Skutt Refractory Cement.
The HotStart lid was easy to replace following the video tutorial on the Warm Glass website. One of the many reasons why I come back to Warm Glass time and again
Just fitted one to my kiln took less than an hour and was not difficult. Needed a new lid due to dropping the lid as above. Arrived very well packaged so little risk of transit damage.
