Glitter Bronze Mica Powder 30g

Love the colour. I experimented with mixing it with Glastac glue (oh, and now I see you suggest that), and found it to be an awesome way to use mica powder. That is the only way I use it. The Glastac contains the mica so it does not blow about and it sets in the glue as if it were a sparkly paint. While it is wet, I mix a few different mica colours, place them on the glass surface and blend the colours at the edges to give it a heated copper metal look. I only put it between 2 clear sheets of Tekta (it looks best with clear) and keep it well away from the edges of the glass. I put on the capping glass while the glue is wet for an interesting and attractive effect. The mica powder must be encased and well away from the edges of the glass, or, after firing, the mica becomes a dry powder once again with the Glastac burned off, and it will have creeped the glass back to expose the mica, which then just starts to fall out. I also add in other elements such as tiny pieces of copper and your larger pieces of mica.

I'm starting in this wonderful world of fused glass......but when i melted my first piece I got so Happy so I haven't stop looking for combinations and stuff to incorporate in my work. Mica powders are Awesomeeeeee!!! We can make lots of different looks with it still amazes me when putting it on my piece and melt
