I bought these running pliers a few months ago and have never actually succeeded in breaking glass with them. Absolute waste of money.
i was very disappointed indeed with this 'tool'- more like a toy. Every so often one makes a regrettable online purchase for items difficult to find locally. Items like this. Made in China, to a pathetic specification, this product will cause you grief. Unfit for purpose, avoid this crummy item and please buy a better product to save cracking your glass in unwanted places.
I bought these in May and have been doing a very small amount of hobby work. They broke today which is very frustrating- cheap but false economy

I bought these for running classes and they are absolutely great. Study but easy to use. Would definitely recommend.
Cannot get these to work at all. Very disappointed.
A great price as a beginner, but I find them very stiff to open and close gently whilst positioning them over the score line.
Unfortunately these pliers really are not very good. I havent managed to get a clean break with them yet. I would recommend spending a bit more and only buying once.
These excellent for beginners start out on a course and price is great too.
My first pair wore out after 10 years, so definitely good value. My second pair is quite stiff to operate though, which is irritating but I hope will ease in time.
These are great. Just pinch a tiny bit of the scored glass and they run the cut along the glass. Good for relatively long and short cuts. I've used on 2 and 3mm Bullseye Glass.
I am so thrilled with this item I've just got to share. I use them for cutting 5mm squares and they cut right down to the last 2 x 5mm squares - marvellous - absolute bargain.
These are fab! They are bigger than expected and I was worried they wouldn't work well with the tiny pieces I use, but I've been proved wrong. With very little effort I have just cut a load of 0.5cm squares that broke along the score line every time! And due to the shape of the pliers, the pieces are 'held' after they break so I don't lose any bits. Definitely get these... They're a bargain!
