This kit contains everything you need to make two ‘Holly Berry’ inspired tealight holders in your kiln, perfect for gifts and Christmas decorations.

The Holly Berry Tealight Kit includes (some substitutions may be made): 

  • 2 x 10cm x 10cm Bullseye 3mm Clear Tekta 1101.30
  • 50g x Bullseye Glass Confetti: Aventurine Green 1112 or Light Aventurine Green 1412
  • 100g x Red Trans Coarse Frit 1122.03 
  • 2 x Discs of Fibre Paper, 1mm 
  • 1 x Circular Shelf Prop
  • Easy-to-follow instructions and firing schedules

This kit produces two tealight holders, approximately 9.5cm x 9.5cm x 4.5cm.

Kiln wash the Fibre Paper with Bullseye Shelf Primer to give you a smoother finish on your glass!

 

Please note: Tealight candles are not included with this kit.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

Sticking to mould

Very attractive tea lights. I also had a problem with getting some off the mould and ended up breaking two of them. Cured this by using a piece of fibre paper the same size as the glass i.e., 10cm x 10cm, rather than the small disc, and extending hold time to 25 mins.

Look fabulous

These little tea light holders became a great seller but the only thing was with the firing some would stick to the mold and not come off others didn't curve enough. Some were perfect. I did use the kiln wash and thin fire too. Can you recommend what I can do to stop this happening as when they worked they were perfect. All fired at the same schedule recommended.

Firing times

Hi I really love this kit but I'm finding that my tea lights are really difficult to remove from the moulds. I tried changing the timings by ten mins for the second hold which is 120 mins but it made them not curve enough. Help
