As a novice I have found this book very user friendly. Plenty of illustrations and all information is in easy to understand 'bite sized' paragraphs. Useful as a reference book too; easy to dip in and out of for information and tips.

Great book for the beginner. Actually there seems to be enough detail to keep even those with some experience in glass fusing happy, but written in a way to not put off the novice. Lots of pictures for inspiration and gives a nice discussion of technical aspects such as kiln firing schedules and tools etc... Well worth investing in.

I find that I am increasingly dipping into this book - and it is the one I most rely on now. Can strongly recommend it. My only comment is that some of the recommended products are in 'American', and it would be great to know what these are in 'English' - eg Ceramaguard, Borax. However, this is definitely the book I would least want to have to do without
