About Dichroic Glass: Dichroic is a multi-layer coating placed on glass using a technical process known as thin film coating. Dichroic glass has a transmitted colour and a completely different reflective colour; these two colours shift depending on the angle of view. The play of light together with its vibrant colour makes Dichroic glass a prime tool to add interest to any kiln glass work.

Dichroic glass thickness is typically around 2mm, but may vary, especially in textured styles.

CBS have been manufacturing this product longer than anyone in the business and their Dichroic glass is Bullseye compatible and is consistently of high quality.

Quarter Sheet Sizing:

Quarter sheets of Dichroic glass are a quarter of a circle. The area of a quarter sheet is around 450 sq cm, which is about the same area as 4.5 10x10cm sheets.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

Dichroic glass highly praised for exceptional texture retention and vibrant color range. Customers said it's "versatile" and creates "stunning" jewelry including earrings, pendants, and necklaces. Works beautifully both capped and uncapped. "Holds its texture even when fully fused." Produces deep colors in pinks, purples, and aquas. Excellent for repeat commissions.

Our favourite dichroic - the colour and texture are amazing and keep really crisp even when capped.

Even just a thin strip combined with black makes some really effective pendants.

This glass is so versatile, such beautiful colour combinations and as such provided me with repeat commissions.

Uncapped, it makes great earrings with no other glass needed as it cuts straight and breaks well. Great for stud earrings. Holds its texture even when the edges have rounded off. When capped with clear it holds its texture also very well, even when the top clear glass is fully fused. I would say it is a little harder than most of the other 90coe here, so keeps angular corners when uncapped and curves more slowly than the clear capping glass.

Love this glass! made a lot of jewellery - earrings, rings and necklaces out of it. One friend said that it reminded her of a peacock. really deep colours and it's just beautiful. Also bought the same glass but on clear and more white and it makes a beautiful colour mix with other glass. Love it! I'm going to buy more and the jewellery pieces really sell well. Love and greetings from Sweden.

I love this glass. I use a lot of dichroic and this just has to be my favorite. Un capped it's vibrant, capped it's like fireworks. Great piece of glass

This glass is stunning for jewellery and gives a huge range of shades. I haven't had the deep blue shades coming through, Mostly pinks and purples and aquas. The patterns created by the textures are superb and I mixed with smooth purple, and have used small pieces to give texture to silver. Microwaving the kiln with a set of pendant and earrings for 12 minutes retained the raised texture.

Thanks Warm Glass for a great service. I am totally hooked and get great results every time. Britt.
