1mm Bullseye Stringers

Standard Pack : Contains approximately 30 stringers

Economy Pack : Contains approximately 123 stringers

Approximately 44cm long.

Stringers, threads of glass pulled from remelted Bullseye compatible sheet, can be used for lines or patterns in 2 or 3 dimensional kilnformed or torchworked projects. Bend with a candle or use straight from the tube.

Cold characteristics: 

Colour variations common, from pastel to vibrant yellow. 

Bullseye Opal Stringers are pre-struck and at target colour
form the manufacturing process, there may be slight
variation in colour.

Working notes: 

Lighter colouration matures and becomes consistent to target upon firing. A sulphur glass.  May react with lead and copper glasses to create dark interface (lead sulphide, copper sulphide).

This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalise and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period. 

Like our sheet glass, stringers are made by hand. There may be slight variation in colour, thickness, length, etc.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).
