Bullseye opalescent sheet glass has an assertiveness and complexity of colour that isn’t matched anywhere. These sheets, when held to light, respond with a fascinating array of complementary hues—like an opal.

Working Notes

Contains:

Selenium, Sulphur

Reactive Potential:

May react with Copper, Lead, Silver

Cold Characteristics:

This style may not reveal (or strike to) its target colour until fired.

May appear very muted grey/brown with streaks or variation

in colour density.

Working Notes:

Matures to a red/cinnabar colour. May appear slightly dappled.

This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can become
incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period.

applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless

otherwise stated in the description).

Disappointed

Cinnabar as a colour description in a dictionary is a rich red colour, this is a really dead looking and uninteresting brown. So disappointed I wish I had only bought a sample instead£ of 2 full sized sheets.
