Product Information

Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces.

Frits are available in a Powder, Fine, Medium, Coarse and Extra Coarse form.

Working Notes

Working Notes

Compared to other copper-bearing styles of similar saturation, this glass has greater reactivity potential.

The colour of frit in this style will change when fired. In larger grain sizes, the result will resemble the hue of the sheet glass;
smaller grain sizes will take on a blue/green hue. This difference is most noticeable in powder (-0008). This unique characteristic has been observed through a range of heatwork, from tack fuse to full fuse firings.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

Disappointing colour once fired from its powder form. It doesn't look much like the richly coloured Lily pad Sheet glass. Or even a subtle shade of it. Instead it goes much more bluey green and looks like Mineral green. Fine if that's the colour you want but confusing if you are after a richer more yellowy green.
