Used toyo cutters for decades and always been great, reliable and long lasting but the last pencil and pistol grip have been terrible, the oil just floods through them both as soon as you use, making a huge mess everywhere. Gave up on both of them so will be looking elsewhere.
Cutter arrived yesterday. I use it for 2mm picture glass, have cut 18 pieces all no problem, great little cutter at a great price.w
Great little cutter. I was using an older unoiled one for a while and just couldn't cut strips without breakages, switched over to this one and now much better. A new cutter makes so much difference. I used wd40 with mine as the cutting oil, works fine.
These Pencil Grip glass Cutters, Metal Running Pliers, and a gridded cm craft mat are all I have ever used to cut my fused glass jewellery. The other tools and grinder I bought for the purpose of glass working itself lay dusty and unused. And each Pencil Glass Cutter lasts me years of regular use making jewellery.
As a newby to this craft I wasn't willing to spend a fortune on tools but needed something that would do the job effectively. My experience so far is that this is great at scoring glass and the built in oil dispenser works well.
Wow, I never realised that cutting glass could be this easy. Always seemed like a dark art cutting a straight line. This just arrived this morning, very first cut, perfect sound and clean straight edge. This tool with the basic breakers is a great combo.
When I started cutting glass I used the pistol grip like my mums, but then I ordered one of these and I find it so much easier to control with more intricate designs... Lasting really well and still scoring beautifully! Highly recommended by myself

The best cutter and I've tried a few in the past with terrible glass wastage when starting out for the first time. This product cuts with that nice sound of ripping silk that we all need to hear when using it on trans glass!

If you buy this as your first glass cutter ever you couldn't apreciate its coolness because you'll never need to try another one... It's my 3d cutter and it's just excellent, you don't even hear the score but the cut, straight or curved, is precise and perfect.
Great quality glass cutter. Still going strong after 2 years of solid use. Would also recommend alternating with the Toyo pistol grip cutter if you do a lot of cutting to avoid any repetitive strain on the wrist.
These last forever! I've had mine for about two years and use it every day without any problems. Someone told me when I started to buy the best cutter I could afford and this has probably been the best advice I've been given as I don't waste much glass with cutting now.
