Bullseye Glass: Colour Glass Student Pack

Disappointed with the high number of transparent/strikers in this 1.5kg pack. There were 19 trans/strikers (15 blues, 4greens) and only 9 opaque which included 3 blacks and 2 reds) Perhaps it would be farer if it was at least half and half trans to opaque. I buy these packs because I need small amounts of a wide variety of opaque. In the past the shipment has been more balanced. The size of each piece was good for me, the discount why I bought it and in the past the shipment has been more usable. Bad luck this time I suppose.

I've purchased many student packs over the years and generally find them to be excellent in terms of colour, variety and size. The last couple of packs have had sightly more 2mm glass pieces (which are fragile and liable to breakage) strikers (not always easy to identify wthout labels) and colour duplicates, but I will continue to buy because they are generally good value for money.

A good selection of colours and thickness ,very good value .

I normally love these however I have recently purchased 8 jars. i have emptied them to sort to my colour drawers how I usually do. To my disappointment, I found the jars overloaded with green and blue, out of all 8 jars I had 4 pieces of red, 6 pieces of yellow and some minimal scraps of other colours. When purchasing those I was also after a jar of green which I couldn't purchase as they were showing out of stock yet this lot was loaded with it, makes no sense. I was after colourful selection and that is not what I have received.
Having purchased them before I do have something to compare it to and although I understand and am well aware that specific colours are not guaranteed, this is sold as "colour glass student pack". My students had nothing to choose from on this occasion. Very disappointing and waste of money sadly. I have been offered to return it all but being that I have emptied all the jars as mentioned, putting it all back would be somewhat of a task I was not willing to undertake to waste more time.
I love all your stuff, I love my bullseye glass and YOU CAN DO MUCH BETTER THAT WARM GLASS and I truly hope you will.

Bought a few of these packs now but every time i have purchased i end up with the same colours each time. Not good if you are hoping to get some completely new colours you haven't used before. Great service

I have bourght these student packs before and I have always been impressed. the latest 1.5kg pack arrived securely packaged in a caroboard box, rather than the previous reused bulk frit plastic bottles. This meant that all the glass pieces were of a similar size and mainly rectangular, where previously I recieved some smaller and odd shaped samples.

As always, a good selection of colours, including transparent, opals and irids.

Disappointed that 5 10x9.5cm clear transparent pieces were included in this pck, particularly as it's a colour pack. This limited the number of colour pieces I expected. Sad to be disappointed

Great range of colours. Useful sizes too.

I have bought this a few times and it is a great way to build up stocks. Most recent purchase early 2022 was a little disappointing though as it contained a lot of off white and some black. I would personally rather have vibrant colours than these greys and off whites, even if it meant smaller pieces at 5cm x 10cm or even 5cm x 5cm. There was also some specialist glass such as striker, streaky and a big lump of irridised herring bone glass. Interesting for other to have and a nice thought to include, but again for me personally, I'd just prefer to have basic vibrant primary/secondary colours. Maybe WG could split this into two product types?

I ordered two of the buckets and am very pleased. Lots of different colours and all pieces are good sizes. Excellent for making smaller items and experimenting with colour - something I need to do more of.

Great value for money, but I do miss having a 'cool' or 'warm ' selection. I loved just being able to buy a selection of blues and greens

Just great! I've bought lots of these 1.5kg tubs and I love opening them up to see what's inside. The pieces are always a good size and there is always a really good variation of colour. It's a really great way of experimenting with colours you might not usually go for. Definitely value for money and worth a try x

Good selection but a lot of strikers and transparent. Would like to be able to buy a pack of opalescent glass only.

Was expecting smaller sizes and more selection. Hopefully the next bag I order(which I definitely will be doing) will match my expectations.am I being fussy?

Good pack for your money, and lovely colours. With the size of each sheet your be able to make a loads of pendants. My pack had a few greens and blues, but once I buy more I'm sure to have more colours. Especially when there is a sale!

Was ok good value but not much selection. Lots of duplicates mainly red blue green

This is my third class pack order of mixed coloured glass. The range is always really good. I love the fact you can try out different colours and types of glass without buying a large sheet. I have been able to make so many lovely items of jewellery and wall art pieces. I highly recommend the product to anyone starting fusing too. It's great value for money!

I'm just starting fusing, so this pack was great for getting a mix of colours to play with without spending a fortune. Excellent size pieces - I struggled to get some of them out of the jar! Love fusing - no more 'scrap'...every tiny bit can be used for projects, frit balls or making frit, so these packs are brilliant value for money. Will most definitely buy again.

I bought 1.5 kg and I am very pleased. Many different colors at a good price. Good both if you want to test out colors or if you want a good variety of different colors.

Great pack with quite a few colours, though my pack had quite a lot of black and white but I guess it's the luck of the draw

Great value pack. Being new to fusing this pack lets me experiment, and boy you can play around with colour, design and fusing, and it doesn't cost a fortune! It really is an excellent tub of starter glass. Buy the tub of clear glass too, you won't be disappointed!
