Product Information

100g Pot

Add unique shapes and movement to glass projects with our versatile hand pulled Vitrigraph stringers. Threads of glass are pulled from remelted Bullseye CoE90 sheets, creating random spirals, curves and twists.

Variations can be a mixture of transparent, opal and streaky glass. Each jar contains a good mix of thicknesses, shapes and sizes including long, medium, short and very short murrine-style pieces, a variety of curves and at least one spiral section.

Please note:

  • This product is very fragile and small breakages may occur in transit.
  • All Vitrigraph is handmade and the product received may differ from picture shown
  • There may be larger 'nuggets' of glass included in the product- these are not included in the weight of the product.
Working Notes

Vitrigraph stringer is not pre-annealed. To prevent thermal shock during firing, we recommend reducing the initial ramp speed to 80-150°C per hour, depending on glass thickness (the thicker the piece, the slower the rate).

I just love these, the random shapes just provide some much inspiration and allow you to create really unique pieces. I am not surprised they sell out regularly.

First time, I got it. I like omg, I probably won't use it because it is curly up. But then I was using them for my children gifts to their teacher, it turns out very nice. Totally love it and I ordered 2 more. Fell in love with them.

These are such fun! They can just add a little something extra to a piece and take it from being good to great. I've been using them in the pictures I make, adding them into the background to give a sense of movement. I love the random shapes and the mixture of colours, you never know what is going to come out of the jar next!

Love these stringers, fab new product! Lots of different colours and shapes in my pot (just received). Only slightly disappointed to see that many had been shattered (I assume during delivery) particularly thin green and red in my pot - resulting in multiple very short pieces at the bottom. Estimate about 10% of total contents, given fragility and non uniform nature I'm not sure there's a solution to this though! Just worth being aware of.

WARM GLASS RESPONSE: Due to the nature of the product some breakage may occur in transit. We therefore put more than 100g in each pot to compensate. Please also note that we do put some very short fine pieces in each pot as standard as these are useful for illustrative elements, as well as short 'murrine' style pieces.
