Bullseye opalescent sheet glass has an assertiveness and complexity of colour that isn’t matched anywhere. These sheets, when held to light, respond with a fascinating array of complementary hues - like an opal.

Selenium, Sulphur, Reactive (0009, 1009, 1019)

Cold characteristics: 

May have dappled surface.

Working notes: 

A copper glass. May have dark colour reaction at interface with cadmium/selenium or sulphur glasses including 0125, 0120, 0126 and 0137. May have a red-hued colour reaction with Reactive glasses such as 0009, 1009, 1019. Tests fired to a full fuse indicate that Robin's Egg Blue Opalescent reacts visibly and with an intensity similar to 0216.

 

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

I love this new blue. It creates stunning reactions with reactive cloud (pink halos) and reactive ice (deep red).
