3 reviewsHot Melt Vinyl is a flexible moulding material that can be easily melted in a 'bain-marie' and used over and over again, with working properties very similar to Gelfex.
Available in hard grade, this is a very cost effective alternative to alginate or silicone with great results, however please note it is not suitable for making moulds of body parts as it will be extremely hot in it's liquid state.
Not suitable for the copying of wax originals.
To be heated between 130°C and 150°C
ive had Gel-Flex under my bed for ages didn't dare use it lol !!!
Then thought freeze and fuse!! i used shells and cross i wanted to replicate ! im still using it for freeze and fuse & silver art clay and Resin !!!
Just make sure its really clean between each medium , but u could make a different one for each medium !

Gelflex is great for freeze and fuse! I
Gelflex is great, perfect for me, i make lots or replica pieces so having a mould making medium that doesnt dissintigrate after a couple of uses is great and its reusable so when i'm done with one design i can just melt it down and start again very handy.
