British Glass Biennale 2024

What is the British Glass Biennale?

This event is the UK's leading exhibition of excellence in contemporary glass by British glass artists, and is the flagship show within the International Festival of Glass. This year's event takes place from 25th August to 1st October 2022 at the Glasshouse, Stourbridge, UK. 103 artists were selected to exhibit, including established artists, students and emerging new talent.

We're thrilled to see many of our wonderful customers, class teachers (Claire Hall, Joshua Kerley, Alison Lowry, Joanna Manousis, Catherine Dunstan & Nancy Sutcliffe) and Winners or Highly Commended artists of The Glass Prize (Anthony Amoako Attah, Hannah Gibson, Ian Chadwick, Sogon Kim, Rachel Elliot, Cathryn Shilling & Julie Light). Colin Reid, winner of The People's Prize 2017, is also exhibiting alongside Helen Slater Stokes who came 2nd in the CGS Graduate Prize, both sponsored by Warm Glass UK.

These works will form a cutting-edge showcase of British based glass talent, with over £17,000 worth of awards available.
