2mm Bullseye Stringers.

Standard Pack: Contains approximately 12 stringers

Economy Pack: Contains approximately 50 stringers

Approximately 44cm long.

Stringers are threads of glass pulled from remelted Bullseye compatible sheets, and can be used for lines or patterns in 2 or 3-dimensional kilnformed or torchworked projects. Bend with a candle or use straight from the tube.

Working Notes

Contains:

Selenium, Sulphur

May react with:

Lead, Silver, Copper

Cold characteristics:  

A lighter brown than when fired.

Working notes:  

This style may not reveal (or strike to) its target colour until fired.

 Matures to a rich, cola brown on firing. With excessive heatwork, can opalise to a dark green/brown.

This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalise and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period.

Like our sheet glass, stringers are made by hand. There may be slight variation in colour, thickness, length, etc.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).
