Etched Dichroic Glass is made using premium CBS dichroic glass, precision etched with intricate designs to create bold, eye-catching patterns. Perfect for jewellery and small-scale fused work, etched dichroic adds contrast, depth and vibrancy to glass designs.The etched manufacturing process creates a matte surface, particularly on black glass. This matte finish can be retained or developed to a glossier appearance when capped with clear glass.

Please note Rainbow 2 produces a varied range of colours. If you are looking for the warmer or cooler end of the colour spectrum, please request this when ordering. Each piece is unique and may vary from the image shown.
How to use:
- Glass should be scored on the non-etched side unless fired first
- If you would like to see the etched pattern while cutting, the glass can be pre-fired face-down at approximately 730°C to stabilise the surface. The glass can be cut on the etched side. Please note firing face-down will result in a more matte finish
- Fire uncapped for a matte finish, for a glossier finish, cap with clear glass before firing
