Create a stand-out piece with this vibrant, fresh colour which is extremely popular among glass artists. This distinctive colour works wonderfully with the use of clear dichroic textures and patterns over the top.

About Dichroic Glass: Dichroic is a multi-layer coating placed on glass using a technical process known as thin film coating. Dichroic glass has a transmitted colour and a completely different reflective colour; these two colours shift depending on the angle of view. The play of light together with its vibrant colour makes Dichroic glass a prime tool to add interest to any kiln glass work. 

Dichroic glass thickness is typically around 2mm, but may vary, especially in textured styles.

CBS have been manufacturing this product longer than anyone in the business and their Dichroic glass is Bullseye compatible and is consistently of high quality.

Quarter Sheet Sizing: 

Quarter sheets of Dichroic glass are a quarter of a circle. The area of a quarter sheet is around 450 sq cm, which is about the same area as 4.5 10x10cm sheets.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

Dichroic glass that fires to a beautiful blue shade, creating eye-catching jewelry. Customers said it "turns out a very pretty blue" and has a "summer beach feel." The pink is less visible than expected, primarily seen only at certain angles. Colors shift more blue when fired, working well with jeans and paired with pink/purple.

Fires to a beautiful shade of blue, but don't expect much pink to be visible unless viewed at over 70 degrees - even then it's not prominent.



Warm Glass Response: Hi Ron, the pink in Pink/Teal refers to the dichroic transmitted colour (the exact opposite of the reflected colour) but this is only seen in the transparent dichroic glass.

This is an amazing glass! The color goes a bit more blue when fired. It actually looks more like the picture of the Yellow/Blue dichroic glass after firing. This glass looks great as jewelry with jeans.

More bluey when fired than magenta green, and the two look great together on a pendant. These two have a summer beach feel about them, like looking out across the sea on a hot summers day.
