A luxurious fusion of regal purple and gold. The name “Gold Purple” comes from the gold that is used as an ingredient in the manufacturing process.

After firing to a full fuse the colour changes from a dark blue to a deep purple.

Bullseye opalescent sheet glass has an assertiveness and complexity of colour that isn’t matched anywhere. These sheets, when held to light, respond with a fascinating array of complementary hues—like an opal.

Working Notes

Selenium, Sulphur

Cold characteristics:  

A deep royal blue with variations in colour density and transparency that can give it a mottled appearance.

Working notes: 

Matures to purple upon firing, often with mottles and streaks remaining. Additionally, this style often fires with blue hues and is not uniform in colour.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).
