Love these - I was apprehensive as they’re quite expensive, but worth every penny. Do the job perfectly,

So worth the price! I'm now able to run curves with ease.

If I could give these more than 5 stars I would. I can cut 5mm strips with ease, inward curves and pieces that would usually have a 50% chance of failing where I'd have to resort to using my ringsaw. Very easy to use and totally worth the extra outlay. Everyone I've recommended them to has been equally delighted. Don't hesitate - good tools are worth their weight in gold and this tool is amazing.

Hesitated a while before purchasing a pair as they seemed initially to be fairly expensive. I needed to break a series of thin strips and these worked a treat. A tip however, the rotating head has a line which you need to place over the score line, this can very difficult to see in certain circumstances, a small dot of white paint helps get things lined easily.

One of my best buys ever. Have been using my Silberschnitt regularly for over 9 years, and they are still running strong! They make breaking out curves, waves, circles a breeze.

Purchased as used when on adv glass fusion course. Light weight and easy to use. Do the job admirably with little effort on part of the user. Not 5* as cutting contact points/bits break easily and need replacing too often. Grr!

After many months of struggling to cut good clean circles I took the plunge and purchased the Silberschnitt Glass Breaking Pliers. They are expensive but already after 4 weeks they have paid for themselves. Being aluminium, very lightweight and having an adjustable rotating jaw all goes to give you a clean smooth finish to your circles and strips and less cold working.

Expensive, but good quality tools always are, these are well worth the cost. Don't use a lot of pressure on them and thin strips are easy to break off, just as the description says. The rotating jaws really do their work.
