Turquoise Blue Opal Coarse Frit 0116.03

Bullseye Frit - Turquoise Blue Opalescent (Coarse).  

Slightly darker than Light Cyan a great backing glass when used with thin transparents or dichroics over the top. Interesting reactions with Medium Amber Frit.

Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces.

Cold characteristics: 

Frits can appear slightly different to their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.

Working notes: 

A copper glass. May have dark colour reaction at interface with cadmium/selenium or sulphur glasses (0125, 0120,
0124, 1120, 1125, 1122, 1137, 1437, 0137).
