Product Information

Can be easily melted in a 'bain-marie' and used over and over again. Not suitable for the copying of wax originals.

The white Gelflex is softer than the blue Gelflex so is good if you are casting something with a lot of undercuts.

Please note, this material is not suitable for making moulds of body parts as it will be extremely hot in its melted form.

I used Gelflex for the first time today. Watched it like a hawk in the pan, using a sugar thermometer to check the temperature. It did catch a little on the bottom of the pan so I have lost some. The rest of it was easy to pour & easy to remove the remains when cool from the pan to re-use. Once cooled I am really impressed with the results. Some of my masters (made with Fimo) had parts that were obviously too narrow & broke when removing them. If the master is not totally flat the gel will get underneath at the edges but you can trim the cooled gel.

I am very pleased with the results.
