8 reviewsThis circle cutter is a professional quality tool by Silberschnitt. The ball bearing cutting head with trailing carbide wheel makes cutting circles much easier due to its swivel design. A suction cup holds the cutter in position while the arm is rotating. We use this tool in our own studio and it cuts very cleanly.
This is a finest quality circle cutter, providing easier cutting, improved break quality, longer service life and requiring less cutting pressure than other designs. The cutting wheel is made from carbide for exceptional durability. Our Production Team use one and have never had to replace the cutting head.
It can be used to cut circles up to 600mm (23.5") and as small as 72mm in diameter.

Grooved measurements on the bar are permanent and easy to read. Measurements are in centimetres and millimetres.

I have had my circle cutter for sometime now and use it fairly frequently it cuts so well, much better than the cheap one I originally bought.
I have found that glass cuts much better when slightly warm.
I was given this as a gift and cut four perfect circles on my first attempt. Very impressed.
A good and accurate tool, but it does have one fundamental design flaw. The knurled screw that tightens and holds the cutter to the arm rotates in the same direction as the arm when performing the cut. If the screw has been tightened only finger tight, it will loosen during the cutting motion and slide away from the set distance (usually inwards), wasting that piece of glass. This can be avoided though if the screw is tightened using pliers but you do need to remember to do this
The quality of this cutter is excellent, well worth the price. The swivel head makes cutting easy and accurate. It is worth watching the video as the length of the rod needs a slightly different technique to the smaller cutter. I love this tool.
It seems expensive at first glance, however when you try it and understand its precision, build quality and ease of use. No buyers remorse here, perfect for no mess, waste free and error free circle cutting.
