I would have given this a five star review: a couple of cuts and it has revitalised my sintered diamond saw blade, taking it back to hot knife through butter cutting.
A dressing stone is an essential when working with a sintered diamond saw blade, particularly as the blades are nearly £200 each.
Why don't I give it 5 stars?
Because the lack of dimensions on the Warm Glass website meant I wasn't prepared for the size of the dressing stone: it's about the size of a packet of wrigley's chewing gum.
Unfortunately, before ordering, I had been watching a video of someone using a dressing stick which looked to be at least 1 inch square and 12 inches long.
So Warm Glass guys, can you provide dimension details on the dressing stone, and any other technical specs, e.g. grit grade. Thanks.
Right, back to sawing up pattern blocks......
WARM GLASS RESPONSE: Thank you for your review. Size and grit details have now been added.
