Product Information
Bullseye Orange Opalescent Powder Frit.

Orange is a bright and brazen colour, which along with Red and Yellow, may shift slightly on firing. It can be enhanced by a transparent overlay such as Rhubarb Pink/Green Shift.

Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces. Also available in a Fine, Medium or Coarse form.

Contains:

Selenium, Sulphur

May react with:

Copper, Lead, Silver

Cold characteristics:

Powder frits usually appear much lighter than their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.

Working notes:

Cadmium/selenium glass. Can fuse darker (more red) or lighter (more yellow) than cold sheet.

This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalise and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for warm glass applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

5 out of 5 stars Tuesday 07 February, 2017 By Diana Burton - See all my reviews
It is an amazing colour - bright and true once fired. Powders are so useful for creating pictures. I was so impressed by the service as my first jar arrived broken and spilled everywhere. Warm Glass replaced it immediately. Excellent customer service. Thank you.
