Offset Oval Pendant Mould

Make beautiful, unique glass jewellery pieces without the hassle of drilling holes using this fantastic mould! Also available in round and square styles.

You can make 6 pendants in 3 different sizes with each firing. Designed to create lightweight pieces which are ideal sizes for pendants without the need for coldworking.  The smallest size is also ideal for earrings. Try filling with frit or using thin dichroic sheet glass or millefiori to create unique, striking designs.

Mould size: 16 x 13 x 2.5 cm.

Will this mould fit in my kiln?

Pendant Sizes: 29x20 mm, 34x25 mm, and 42x30 mm

Fill Weights: 4, 6, and 11 grams

When filling the mould, pile the frit in a pyramid or dome shape so the centre of the mould is filled higher than the edges. This helps the correct flow of glass during firing, lowering the risk of the glass 'grabbing' the mould sides as it fires:

We strongly recommend using ZYP Boron Nitride Spray with our casting moulds for the very best results. Primo Primer can also be used. Standard shelf primer is not suitable.

Please note that all our moulds are hand-made and therefore the dimensions may vary slightly from those shown. Mould manufacturers allow a tolerance of up to 2cm.

All our moulds are designed for multiple use and with care should last for many firings.

Very easy to use as long as you prime it properly. A quick lesson I learnt was to use powder or fine frit as coarse frit tends to spike and then need sanding back. One minor criticism is that the description made no mention that the mold is not suitable for float glass but the packaging did. Bought with the offset square pendant set and the same applies to that.

works really well for using up small off cuts - creates a good shape with a smooth edged hole. Great when using milli of bits of dichroic
