Kiln Shelves:
This kiln is supplied without a shelf, but we sell a 50 cm x 50 cm kiln shelf, four of which would fit this kiln.
Other Information:
The kiln can be split for ease of installation if access is tight.
This kiln requires the installation of a circuit breaker (similar to a cooker socket). This should be fitted by a qualified electrician.

The lid has gas-strut lid lift assistance to make opening easy. The kiln opens wide to provide a flat, bench-like surface, making it very easy to place items in the kiln.
The lid seal is held in by a removable stainless steel frame and as such, it is fully replaceable if required, leaving a factory fitted finish that will give years of trouble free use.
The FK6 uses an ultra-fast response Inconel thermocouple and is equipped with Quartz tube, Kanthal A1 "infra-red" element technology.
This kiln contains no ceramic fibre. The base is made from replaceable, low density brick.
The FK6 comes on a stand with castors as standard.

Power supply: This kiln will all run on either single phase or three phase as standard and can be changed at any time simply by removing or adding a special link bar (that is provided with the kiln) to the mains connections. This should be done by a qualified electrician.

Controller
The FK6 comes with the KCR32CWIFI programmer which is a WiFi enabled multi-program controller targeted towards glass use with 32 programs each of up to 32 segments. Each segment is a controlled heating/cooling ramp followed by a soak. It is supplied pre-programmed with 9 typical glass programs (which can be over-written).

Delivery:
This kiln is not a stock item, and delivery is usually 6-8 weeks, directly from the manufacturer.
Delivery is to kerbside only and does not include installation. Please consider that you may need help to situate the kiln.
Delivery is free to Mainland UK. We subsidise delivery costs where possible, however some destinations may require an extra delivery charge. Additional charges may also apply if there is restricted access to property.
Other destinations may vary - please contact for quote.
When your kiln is ready for delivery, we’ll contact you to book in a date that is convenient for you. Deliveries are Monday - Friday and someone will need to be available at the premises to take delivery of the kiln. We are unable to specify a delivery time until the morning of the scheduled delivery.
Deliveries outside the UK: Delivery charges vary. While we subsidise delivery costs where we can, for some destinations we may have to request an extra delivery charge in addition to the one calculated at checkout. If this is the case we will contact you as soon as possible to agree this with you, and always before the kiln is dispatched.
