Duration 2 days - 10.00am to 4.00pm - total 12 hours

Warm Glass UK, 5 Havyat Park, Wrington, Bristol. BS40 5PA

Class Description:

Prerequisite: Basic glass fusing experience

Success in making glass landscapes is dependent on the use of materials and techniques. This class will teach you how to use Glassline pens, Bullseye Glass powders and frits with great effect.

The use of these products creates depth, colour and texture that would not be achievable with paints and canvas. You do not need any specific artistic skills to participate, but it will be of interest to people currently using other artistic mediums to create their work.

Firing schedules and the effects of using different temperatures in the kiln will be discussed and you will leave with the knowledge required to produce unique pieces of your own.

We provide lunch for all those attending our courses. Please click here for more details.

Extensive knowledge and tips well shared between tutors and students. Excellent tutors gave lots of practical advice and steered timid learners to successful finishes. The covered a lot in the class and 5 days of uninterrupted immersion in glass techniques with like-minded people was a complete joy.

Another excellent course. It is a good opportunity to try various tools before buying i.e. sifters and various powder applicators. We also used Glassline and I learnt various tips and techniques even though I have used them already, so will now explore more.
