Duration 2 days - 10.00am to 4.00pm - total 12 hours

Warm Glass UK, 5 Havyat Park, Wrington, Bristol. BS40 5PA

Class Description:

Prerequisite: Basic glass fusing experience

Success in making glass landscapes is dependent on the use of materials and techniques. This class will teach you how to use Glassline pens, Bullseye Glass powders and frits with great effect.

The use of these products creates depth, colour and texture that would not be achievable with paints and canvas. You do not need any specific artistic skills to participate, but it will be of interest to people currently using other artistic mediums to create their work.

Firing schedules and the effects of using different temperatures in the kiln will be discussed and you will leave with the knowledge required to produce unique pieces of your own.

We provide lunch for all those attending our courses. Please click here for more details.

I did this course in May 2013 and it was fantastic. You get to use different techniques painting and using powder / frit. This lets you see the different results you get with each one. I was so pleased with the 3 final pieces.
I also got great advise on using my kiln (I also purchased this from Warm Glass last year)
All of the WG staff were so helpful when I was there and Becky even emailed me with some advise after I got home
Over all great course but bring some pictures or photos to give you a bit of inspiration.
