Bullseye Cobalt Blue Opalescent Coarse Frit.

A watery opal, very effective in creating springtime scenes, whether as sky or water. It is enhanced by the use of spring green in this context. Prone to devitrification if it's not clean when it's fired.

Bullseye Frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torchworking and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces.

Cold characteristics:

Fine and Medium frits usually appear lighter than their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Coarse frits less so. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour (bottom left for transparent colours).

Working notes:

Stable. No colour shift.
