Bullseye Glass Frit: Slate Grey Powder 0236.08

Bullseye Grey Opalescent Powder Frit.  

A wonderful light stone grey opal, which works particularly well with Black and White opals. Lighter than Deep Grey Opal and darker than Driftwood Grey.

Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces. Also available in a Fine, Medium or Coarse form.

Cold characteristics: 

Powder frits usually appear much lighter than their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.

Working notes: 

Stable. No colour shift.
