The Hotstart Pro is easy to use, whether you are a beginner or a professional glass worker. We highly recommend this for both quality and value for money. The Hotstart Pro is similar to the Firebox 14, with the same great controller, but with a smaller chamber size.
The Hotstart Pro comes with the excellent LT Controller and full accessory kit, including a stand, kiln shelf and supports. It comes wired with a standard UK domestic plug. This is a stock product.
Programmer
One of the best features of the HotStart kiln is the reliable and easy to use Glassmaster LT 3 button controller which provides features for both the beginner and the advanced artist. Starting with simple factory set programmes can save a lot of time and a lot of glass. However, as you become familiar with the glass kiln this controller allows you to modify the settings during firing or design your own firings with five additional eight segment programmes, providing you with total programming freedom and confidence.
Chamber size – The chamber is circular with a diameter of 38cm. The maximum circular piece you can fit inside would be 34cm in diameter. The maximum square piece would be 26cm x 26cm. For example you could fit 4 standard coasters in per firing. The depth of the kiln is 16.5cm.
