Skutt GM1214-3 glass kiln with digital programmer 240V
The Skutt GM1214-3 kiln is the largest in Skutt’s excellent Studio Kiln range. It has an even wider chamber than the already capacious GM1014 with the same generous 34cm depth. It has lid and side elements for even heating with a lid lifter to make opening this kiln almost effortless. This model also boasts energy saving 3" (7.5cm) brick. The GM1214-3 combines its substantial chamber size with an advanced, flexible and easy-to-use controller, making it an excellent choice for the serious studio artist.
Programmer
The Skutt GM1214-3 comes with the GlassMaster controller. A result of many years of research, this controller combines simplicity with flexibility. With Skutt’s unique ‘Glass Fire Mode’, beginners can fire their pieces with confidence, whereas the ‘Ramp/Hold Mode’ offers ultimate flexibility for the more experienced glass artist and those keen to experiment, while remaining simple to program. You can also adjust programs mid-firing, delay the start time to suit your needs and store up to six of your favourite programs to use again and again. Chamber size – The chamber is circular with a diameter of 71cm. It can very comfortably accommodate a 56cm (22 inch) diameter kiln shelf. The depth of the kiln is a generous 34cm.
