Product Information

Secure your glass displays with Museum Gel.

Use this clear museum gel to secure your works of art in a gallery, shop, or your home.

Museum gel was originally used by major museums in the earthquake region of California, hence, it is also known as quake gel.  It is now used in museum display cases for fragile works of art.  It is non-toxic, removable and reusable.
Simply place little balls of Clear Museum Gel underneath your object, press in place and wait 30 minutes.  A secure, invisible bond is created.  Clean and easy to use.  You can protect your glass and crystal from breakage while cleaning, or by feisty pets, playful children and earthquakes!

One jar will secure 300 or more figurines.

Easy to use and very effective to prevent wobble in high traffic areas or slighty unsteady pieces. Do allow time for it to set before testing.
Easy to remove with a slight twisting action. I forgot I'd added it between pieces in a constructed sculpture and was quite surprised when I went to lift one bit and the whole piece and acrylic mirror stand came up in my hand.

Hurray! I bought some of this years ago when i visited Bullseye. It is invaluable for securing pieces especially at a show where stands and tables may be a bit shaky. Apparently, it was developed for use in museums for holding valuable artifacts securely during earthquake tremors!

This stuff is amazing I make a lot of drop outs and they can be a little wobbly sometimes but this holds them in place without any mess so much more professional looking than a bit of unsightly blue tack!
