Product Information
Bullseye Frit - Light Cyan Opalescent (Coarse).

A cool, fresh turquoise opal.

Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces.

Contains:

Copper

May react with:

Selenium, Sulphur

Cold characteristics:

Frits can appear slightly different to their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.

Working notes:

At slumping temperatures and low-tack fusing temperatures (1150-1250°F/621-677°C), grey clouding may occur (similar to Steel Blue 0146), especially where contamination from oils and/or cleaner is left behind during the cleaning process. Solution: cap this colour with clear or test for each specific application. The clouding can be erased from an uncapped piece by capping with clear glass and firing to a full fuse.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for warm glass applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

Love it. Gorgeous when used with French Vanilla coarse frit on a sheet of 4mm tekta - always sells as a coaster or bowl. The reactions give a dimensional quality sometimes lacking in frit-embellished pieces.

Never had any problems with devit.
