Bullseye Green/Brown Opalescent Powder Frit.

A brown green, which matures to its target colour after full firing. A very different colour to other stronger green opals, Golden Green is perfect for autumn scenes!

Bullseye frit is made from crushed, screened and magnetically cleaned Bullseye Compatible sheet glass. Available in a huge variety of colours, frit gives the opportunity to add a unique element to your glass work. Frits are extremely versatile and can be used in kilnforming, including glass sketch and painting with light techniques, as well as in torch working and blowing, to create colours and patterns on surfaces.

Contains:

Selenium

May react with:

Copper, Lead, Sulphur

Cold characteristics:

Powder frits usually appear much lighter than their fired colour, even when the glass is not a striker. Please see the bottom half of the sheet glass image below for a better idea of the fired colour.

Working notes:

May reveal subtle light/dark green wisps in a full-fuse firing. When uncapped, the mottling is less noticeable and the colour more even. When capped with clear, the mottling is more noticeable.

This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalise and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).
