Product Information

Glassline chalks can be used to draw on sandblasted glass, tack fused Glassline pens and paper or a rough surface created using powder frit. The chalks may be used on the top surface or bottom surface of glass and then layered for a dimensional look.

Try combining the chalks with the Glassline pens to create a charcoal like drawing. Please note that chalk colours are subtle and may need several applications to gain strength of colour.

Compatible with most types of glass from float to CoE90 and CoE96. Best fired to 815 degrees centigrade but may be fired higher or lower depending upon your desired results.

This kit contains 14 chalks:

  • Black

  • White

  • Grey

  • Pink

  • Crimson

  • Yellow

  • Orange

  • Red orange

  • Dark blue

  • Turquoise

  • Light green

  • Dark green

  • Brown

Really regret buying these. Colours look so washed out, not worth the money at all. I wished I'd have gone for the paint pens.

WARM GLASS UK RESPONSE: The chalks need to be used on a frosted surface, either sandblasted or a sifting of powder and fired to 711C. Full instructions in the pdf above.

I was really disappointed with these chalks - unfortunately I made the mistake of buying the whole set before trying one out so a lot of money has been wasted on a product I don't think I'll ever use. They are so pale as to be almost pointless, I really wouldn't recommend them.

Great way to experiment with chalks - enough colours to play with and they create wonderfully soft designs.
