This mould is ideal for creating utilitarian objects for the dinner table which can be used to serve fruit, salads etc. Instead of using a round and even glass shape, why not try a wavy or jagged outline for a unique result.
A smaller version of this shape is the China Soup Bowl 8343.
Diameter 38 cm
Depth 5 cm
Firing Schedule:
Please Read: This firing recommendation has been calculated for use with Bullseye Glass of average viscosity with an even thickness of 4 - 6 mm. The chart shown below is also based on the assumption that you are using a top fired kiln, e.g. Nabertherm GF75, GF240 etc.

Troubleshooting
· Small kilns such as Skutt Firebox may require hold time at process temperature reducing.
· Side firing kilns will require more time in the first ramp than top firing kilns.
· Bubbles in slumping are caused by firing too high or holding too long at process temperature.
· Remove the shelf when slumping in small kilns.
· Cracked moulds or cracked glass is caused by firing too fast in the first ramp or cooling too fast.
· Devitrification on the outside of a slumped piece is caused by firing too high or holding too long at process temperature.
