Product Information

Dichroic - A vibrant and edgy texture which is fantastic for layering with both Dichroic colours and patterns. This stunning glass has a consistent texture perfect for both small and large designs, which will be maintained even when fired at high temperatures. Also available on clear.

Quarter Sheet Sizing: Quarter sheets of textured dichroic glass are a quarter of a circle with a small section of the curved edge removed. The area of a textured quarter sheet is around 440 sq cm, which is about the same area as 4.4 10x10cm sheets. Sometimes the textured dichroics come without the edge missing, in which case the area will be about 450 sq cm. See the Dichroic Glass FAQ pdf for more information.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for warm glass applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

The piece I received was more green/purple and the results are quite eye catching! The bubble texture remains after firing and the colours are gorgeous. I've used this glass both as a background and as accent pieces. As another reviewer mentioned that since the bubbles are so small and close together even a tiny piece of this glass will produce something that 'pops'!

Radium dichroic is a superb piece of glass especially for the smaller pieces of jewellery I make as the "bumps" are quite condensed so whatever piece you make these bumps fuse into these wonderful almost 3 dimensional bubbles under a cap which look incredible no matter the size of the piece
