Product Information
2mm CBS Dichroic Sheet Glass - Emerald on thin black.

Looking for a strong colour? This is a lush green with an interesting purple tinge. Slightly darker than Magenta/Green, this colour is lovely with other dichroic colours such as purples, and with clear patterns and textures fused over the top.

Also available on clear.

Dichroic is a multi-layer coating placed on glass using a technical process known as thin film coating. Dichroic glass has a transmitted colour and a completely different reflective colour; these two colours shift depending on the angle of view. The play of light together with its vibrant colour makes dichroic glass a prime tool to add interest to any kiln glass work. CBS have been manufacturing this product longer than anyone in the business and their dichroic glass is Bullseye compatible and of consistently high quality.

Quarter Sheet Sizing: Quarter sheets of Dichroic glass are a quarter of a circle. The area of a quarter sheet is around 450 sq cm, which is about the same area as 4.5 10x10cm sheets.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for warm glass applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

Really pleased with how vivid the colour is. I've etched leaf motifs with this and love the results. As another reviewer has said this colour stays pretty true to what you see on your computer.

Great to use in jewellery as it's the truest green. Emerald is just the right name.

This colour is pretty much how you see it on the computer screen after it has been fired. It is true to its name, emerald. It looks gorgeous capped with clear glass or uncapped, sitting on black.

This must be one of my favorite dichroic colors. After fused (when capped) it is a very nice smooth color. Its is my favorite when uncapped as the color just looks amazing.
