Product Information
2mm CBS Dichroic Sheet Glass - Aqua on thin black.

Create stunning pendants, earrings, cufflinks and other jewellery items with this eye catching blue-green glass. Fuse a clear dichroic pattern or texture over the top to create fabulous jewellery work.

Also available on clear.

Dichroic is a multi-layer coating placed on glass using a technical process known as thin film coating. Dichroic glass has a transmitted colour and a completely different reflective colour; these two colours shift depending on the angle of view. The play of light together with its vibrant colour makes dichroic glass a prime tool to add interest to any kiln glass work. CBS have been manufacturing this product longer than anyone in the business and their dichroic glass is Bullseye compatible and of consistently high quality.

Quarter Sheet Sizing: Quarter sheets of Dichroic glass are a quarter of a circle. The area of a quarter sheet is around 450 sq cm, which is about the same area as 4.5 10x10cm sheets.

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for warm glass applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).

I agree with other reviewers in describing it as peacock green. A mouthwatering greeny/blue which pairs well with pinks, blues and purples and it's great for a background with a clear texture on top.

This color makes a great elegant green when fired. I agree with the term peacock green for this color. Its really amazing and contrasts well with the "yellowness" of the Emerald green.

Fantastic peacock colour when fired. Looks gorgeous made into cabs (with a piece of black opaque 3mm bullseye underneath, the same size or slightly smaller), and fired to a rounded edge. Where the aqua curves around at the edges, multiple peacock colours can be seen. My favourite intense bluey green.
