Casting Plaster

This mould material has been successfully used for pate de verre, kiln-cast and crucible casting processes. It's an economical, all-purpose mould material for kiln casting and slumping. It has very fine particles, providing the smoothest of surfaces. This mould material has sufficient strength for most glass castings of small and medium size. It is ideal for open-face moulds and small moulds made using the lost wax process. 2kg makes approximately 1.6 litres of plaster.
