This is a basic 50/50 mould mix blend for casting glass. Economy Casting plaster offers glass casters their familiar plaster/silica blend—ready made, just add water. Buy this mix and you can count on receiving a thoroughly blended, ready-to-use material. In addition, the working time and setting time for each batch of R&R Mold-Mix 50/50 are tested prior to leaving the manufacturing facility. This is the most economical, all-purpose mould material for kiln casting and slumping. This mould material has sufficient strength for most open-face glass castings of small and medium size.

Always wear a dust mask when handing plaster powder. Danger. Causes damage to lungs through prolonged or repeated exposure. Contains respirable crystalline silica. See MSDS for more information.

We recommend that the plaster is stored in sealed container in a cool dry place, and used within 12 months of purchase.
