The darkest of the Opal browns, this colour is a strong shade, which could be softened with the use of purple, such as Neo-Lavender.

Partly transparent.
Working notes:
Opalises upon firing. Colour becomes slightly lighter with slight dappling.
This style is not suitable for kilncasting because it can opalise and/or become incompatible when held at high temperatures for an extended period.
