2mm (Thin) Bullseye Opalescent Sheet Glass - Dense White.

Reactive GlassMore reactive than White Opal, we now stock this in sheet glass format by popular demand.  This is a special production Bullseye sheet glass and not one of their standard colours.

3mm also available.

Dense White Opal makes a wonderful subtle reaction when used with French Vanilla (0137). Try using French Vanilla frit or stringers over a Dense White base glass:

dense white opal and french vanilla reaction

Contains:

Lead

May React with:

Selenium and Sulphur

Cold Characteristics:

Consistent colour

Working Notes:

This glass can be unstable when subjected to extended heatwork (pattern bars, pot melts, boiled effect, kilncasting, etc.). Firing above 1500°F (815°C) for more than 15 minutes or firing slowly between 1250°F (677°C) and 1500°F (815°C) may result in an unstable glass. More susceptible to contaminants that seed devitrification than other glasses in the Bullseye line. Cap with clear, use Super Spray, or plan to treat the surface (sandblast, coldwork, or apply clear powder and refire) after firing.

No colour shift upon firing. A dark interface reaction is possible with sulphur-bearing glasses (001137, 000137).

All our glass is COE90, Bullseye Glass compatible and suitable for applications such as glass fusing, glass casting and glass slumping (unless otherwise stated in the description).
