Class Description
With a 'hands on' focus, each student will work with many different materials to produce samples and several final pieces. The aim will be to give you the confidence to produce reliable results in the kiln. Over the two day course we will cover the following:

Confidence with glass cutting

What do you need to set up a studio?

what is compatible glass

glass and heat - what happens in the kiln?

kiln preparation and firing schedules

slumping approach and technique

throuble-shooting with examples of things to avoid

working with accessory glass and inclusions
