The intensive workshop will introduce you to the exciting and rewarding world of mould making and glass casting.
In this class you will complete several cast pieces using different methods and materials.

Class Description
This two day class will familiarise you with the many different materials and processes used in casting and how and when to use them.
We will make several small projects, and there will be demonstrations of alginate, gelflex, silicone, micro-crystaline wax and different types of refractory plaster.
You will make and fire pieces that will teach you how to successfully cast small objects. We will discuss complex casting methods and how to create custom firing schedules for different projects.
